How can we help?

Answers for couples, guests, planners and venues. A real person usually replies within 1 working day when you need more.

Getting started

What is Occasi?

Occasi makes digital wedding invitations with online replies, plus a private dashboard for your guest list, meal choices, seating, texts, budget and check-in on the day. With The Occasi Pass, every guest also gets a Pass of their own after they reply. Guests open the invitation in their browser and reply there.

Can I try it before I pay?

Yes. Create an account and build a private draft for free. You can also explore a sample dashboard with made-up guests. Nothing in the sample is saved or sent.

I’m a guest. Where is my invitation?

Your invitation lives at the personal link your hosts sent you, by message, email, text or a QR code. Open it again from there. This website can’t look it up for you, so if you can’t find it, ask your hosts to send it again.

Do my guests need an app or an account?

No. Guests open your invitation link in their browser and reply there. Your account is only for you.

Which phones and browsers work?

Occasi works in current versions of Safari, Chrome and Edge on phones and computers. Guests don’t need an app or an account. If a device can’t play a design’s video, it shows a still picture instead.

How do I choose a design?

Browse the designs and preview any of them as a guest would see it. In your dashboard, choose Change design at any time; your words, guests and replies stay. Every Invitation design is £49.99. An Occasi Pass design (The White Pavilion, Sugar Bloom or The Tunnel Book) is £69.99 because it includes each guest’s own Pass.

Your invitation

What can I add to my invitation?

Your names, the date and venue, and the sections you switch on: your story and photos, the schedule for each day, menus, dress codes with colour swatches, travel and places to stay, questions and answers, your wedding party, a gift-list link and music. Sections you don’t need can stay off.

Can I change details after sharing?

Yes. Edit them in your dashboard and your live invitation updates; the link stays the same. Changing a detail doesn’t message anyone by itself. With The Occasi Pass, post an update: guests see it under the bell on their Pass, and you can also send it by text to UK mobiles at 10p per text segment.

Can guests read the invitation in another language?

On The Pearl Lake, Riviera Blossom, Château and Aegean Vow, guests can switch the language of the invitation, and you choose which languages are offered. The guest’s Pass can be read in their own language: when their phone is set to one of the languages you offer, it opens in that language, and the globe button changes it at any time. The White Pavilion’s invitation scenes and reply, and the other designs, show in English for now.

Occasi’s own wording, such as headings and the reply form, is translated. Your own words show as you wrote them unless you add a translation in your dashboard.

Can I add music to my invitation?

Yes. Your invitation has no music until you choose some. In your dashboard, open Music and choose Occasi music (a track made for your design, which changes with it if you change design) or your own song (an MP3 up to 6 MB that you made or have permission to use). The music starts softly once a guest taps to open your invitation, never before.

Can guests turn the sound off?

Yes. A small round speaker button sits in a corner of the invitation: one tap turns the sound off, another turns it back on. Their phone remembers the choice next time, and the sound pauses whenever they switch to another app or tab. Occasi Pass designs also play a few quiet sound effects as guests open the invitation, move around it and reply; the same button silences them, and you can switch them off under Music in your dashboard.

Can I have more than one invitation?

Yes. Each invitation is its own purchase, with its own design, guest list and replies, and you switch between them in Account. If you bought an earlier package that included a second invitation, it keeps it.

What is a save-the-date card?

A digital card in your invitation’s design, with your names, the date, the place and “Invitation to follow”. Guests can add the date to their calendar. Share its link by WhatsApp, text or email, even before your invitation is ready. It’s included with The Invitation and The Occasi Pass.

Guests and replies

How do guests reply?

They open your link, find their name (or fill in the form, if you use a shared link) and reply for everyone in their party, event by event. Their replies appear in your dashboard straight away.

Guest list or shared link: which should I use?

With a guest list, only the households you add can reply, and each has its own number of places, up to 20. With a shared link, anyone who has the link can reply, up to the party size you set. You choose in Invitation details.

Can I give each household its own link?

Yes. With a guest list, each household has a personal link that opens their invitation ready for them. Copy it from the guest list or from the message to send.

Can we keep our invitation to the guests we invited?

Only guests on your list can reply. They find their invitation by name or by their own link. Turn on Only invited guests in Share & QR: anyone opening your invitation link then types the name you invited them under, and it opens if that name is on your guest list. Personal links open straight away. If a name isn’t found, the guest is asked to contact you; no other names are ever shown. Someone who knows a guest’s full name could still open it.

Can I import my guests?

Yes. Choose people from your phone’s contacts (on Android with Chrome), or use a contacts file (.vcf) or a simple spreadsheet (.csv). Nothing leaves your device until you press Import, and only the people you select are added.

Can guests reply to different events?

Yes. Add up to 12 events, such as a mehndi, the ceremony and a farewell brunch, and choose which events each household is invited to. Their reply shows only those events.

Do evening guests need a separate invitation?

No. Add your evening reception as its own event and invite those households to it alone. Their link shows just the evening, and that’s all they reply to. Day and evening guests share one invitation, so there’s nothing extra to buy.

Can I collect meal choices and dietary needs?

Yes. Add your meal options. The dietary question is on by default, and you can switch it off if you don’t need it. A guest’s dietary or allergy note goes only to you and the people you ask to help, such as your caterer. You’ll see the totals for your caterer in your dashboard, and you can download them.

Can a guest change their reply?

Yes, with The Invitation and with The Occasi Pass, until your reply-by date. Guests change their own reply, meals, dietary needs and song through their own private link, so no one else can change it for them. After sending, they see “Change our reply” on your invitation, and with The Occasi Pass they can also change it on their Pass. Changes stay open until your reply-by date (or a date you choose), then lock, and guests are asked to contact you. You can turn changes off next to your reply-by date (Invitation → Will you join us?); then guests are shown how to reach you instead. A dietary note can still be removed after changes lock.

If a guest tells you directly, you can change their reply yourself in Guests. If they get stuck, ask them to contact you, or contact us through Help & report a problem in Account.

How do I send my invitation?

Copy your link and share it by WhatsApp, email or any messaging app, or download a QR code to print. WhatsApp sharing opens your own WhatsApp; it isn’t automatic messaging. Text invitations and reminders are an optional add-on for UK mobiles: 10p per text segment, from a balance you top up. Each text starts with your names and links to the guest’s own invitation. You see the exact cost first and choose who gets texts and when. Nothing goes out unless you’ve switched it on or scheduled it. Guests can stop texts with one tap.

Do guests get a confirmation?

They see a thank-you as soon as they reply. If a guest adds an email address to their reply, they also get a short confirmation email.

Can I delete a guest?

Yes. Open the household and choose Delete household. You’ll see everyone it includes before you confirm, and you can undo it for a few seconds.

The guest’s Pass

What is the guest’s Pass?

With The Occasi Pass, each household’s personal link opens a Pass of their own once they’ve replied: Days, Wear, Your table, Getting there and Memories, with a bell for your updates. If you have more practical detail than your invitation’s one-screen sections hold, you can switch on an optional Guest guide in the Pass: a longer, printable page for travel, places to stay, the day in detail, menus and local tips. On the day it shows what’s happening now and what’s next, and afterwards your thank-you. Guests don’t sign up or download anything, and they can add it to their home screen. You can see exactly what any household sees from your dashboard.

Which designs have the Pass?

The White Pavilion, Sugar Bloom and The Tunnel Book include it. Any Invitation design can have it too: choose The Occasi Pass when you publish, or add it later for £20. Each design’s Pass comes in that design’s own style.

What can guests do on their Pass?

Whatever you switch on: change their meal until a date you choose, send you a note, ask a question, or ask for a high chair or booster seat. Everything they send appears in your dashboard.

What if a guest loses their link?

Copy their personal link from their details in your dashboard and send it again. With The Occasi Pass, a guest who has replied can also get it themselves: on your shared link they tap “Already replied? Send me my wedding guide”, and we email their Pass link to the address they replied with, or the one you have for them. It’s free.

Planning and the day

How does the seating plan work?

In Guests, open Seating and add your tables. Tap a guest, then a chair or a table (on a computer you can also drag them). Swap two guests, keep a household together or two guests apart, let Auto-seat fill the gaps, and undo any move. Then download place cards, a table plan sign and the plan for your venue.

What happens on the wedding day?

In Guests, On the day has a door list for checking guests in, and an entrance QR code guests can scan to find their own table by typing their first name and surname. The wedding party checks guests in on the door list.

Can I track our budget?

Yes. Budget & payments keeps your costs, deposits and what’s still due in one place, with a PDF you can download. Your budget is private and never appears on your invitation.

What is the memory book?

A shared place for guests’ photos and messages, opened from a link or a QR code on your tables. You can hide any photo; hidden photos stay out of the guest book and its PDF. A link to a photo that was already shared can still open.

Can my planner or venue help?

Yes. When a planner or venue on Occasi Pro asks to help, you review the request under Access in your dashboard and choose what they can see. Budget and guest contact details have their own settings, and you can change or remove access at any time.

Payments and refunds

How much does it cost?

The Invitation is £49.99: one invitation with every page in one place. The Occasi Pass is £69.99: everything in The Invitation, plus each guest’s own Pass. Both include save-the-date cards and 5 years of hosting. You pay once; there is no subscription. See pricing.

How do I pay?

By card through Stripe’s secure checkout, from Publish in your dashboard. The price you see is the price you pay, with no extra fees. We charge in the currency shown on the page: pounds, or US, Canadian, Australian or New Zealand dollars. If your card uses another currency, your bank may add its own conversion fee.

Can I buy from outside the UK?

Yes. You pay in pounds, US, Canadian, Australian or New Zealand dollars, or euros, depending on where you are. Guests can open and reply to your invitation from anywhere.

Can I cancel?

Yes, within 14 days, until you send. You can cancel for a full refund within 14 days of your payment being confirmed, as long as you haven’t yet published or shared your invitation or a save-the-date card. For a Pass upgrade, that’s until guests can see their Pass. Not ready to start? Don’t pay yet: your draft stays free to edit until you are. Your rights if something is wrong with what we supply aren’t affected. Cancellation and refunds explains how.

How long is my invitation online?

Your invitation stays online for 5 years from confirmed payment, with no automatic renewal. Publishing later doesn’t restart the 5 years. Afterwards you can still sign in and download your guest list and replies at any time.

Can I move up to The Occasi Pass later?

Yes, for £20, from the “Upgrade to The Occasi Pass” card on Home or in Account. Keep your design and your guests get their Pass after they reply, in your design’s style; or switch to an Occasi Pass design, and every word carries over. Your guest link and your hosting end date stay the same.

How does text credit work?

Texts cost 10p per segment for UK mobiles, from a balance you top up. Credit lasts as long as your invitation is hosted, and you can ask for unused paid credit back at any time before your hosting ends.

Account and privacy

Who can see my guests’ replies?

You can, and a planner or venue only if you approve it. Each guest sees only their own household’s reply.

How long do you keep guest information?

Dietary notes are deleted 90 days after your last event. Your invitation and guest information stay in your account until you delete them. Our privacy notice lists every period.

Can I download my guest list?

Yes. In Guests, download your guest list or your replies as a spreadsheet.

How do I delete my account?

Tap your initials to open Account, choose Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm. This permanently deletes your invitations, replies and uploaded photos, and can’t be undone. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel or refund a purchase by itself, so email us first if you want to cancel.

Planners and venues

Can our venue have its own invitation designs?

For partner venues, we create one or two invitation designs inspired by your venue: its architecture, its rooms and its grounds. They’re included for partner venues, at no extra cost. Booking your venue through Occasi isn’t open yet; when it is, couples who book with you through Occasi can choose your venue’s designs, alongside our whole collection, and they’re shown only to your couples.
